Story
WE'VE DONE IT!!!
We have just returned from our Peru Trek for a Cure.....a truely awesome & life changing experience.
Having met the other fantastic people in the group ( who became like family ) hearing their personal storiesas to what inspired them to do great work to raise funds for Cure Cancer Australia we can only make one last ditch attempt to get you all to reach into your pockets and donate - PLEASE!
Peter and I have also raised funds through a Quiz night at our golf club Royal Fremantle Golf Club who have given us tremendous support throughout - THANKS GUYS!
Our total fundraising effort s so far nearly total $9,000!

Sadly, EVERYONE'S lives have been affected in one way or another by someone being diagnosed with cancer. It could be you, your partner, a family member or a friend.
In June 2010, Alison's sister Carole passed away after a battle with breast cancer that lasted on and off for nearly four years. Six years ago, Peter lost his brother in law Ken, to cancer. Sadly, Carole and Ken are just two of many, many more we never hear about.
Treatment options for those diagnosed are arduous, life changing, often scary for the person and their family ....... and sadly don't come with a guarantee that they will be OK.
So in May 2011, Alison and Peter are trekking in Peru to raise awareness and money for the Cure Cancer Australia Foundation. We aim to fund research so that hopefully one day being diagnosed with Cancer is a thing of the past.
Ali & Pete will be covering ALL of the travel costs themselves , so ALL funds raised / donated will go to Cure Cancer Australia!!
Peter and Alison welcome any contribution, great or small, that you can make and also appreciate you passing on the details of our cause to your family and friends......
